Savings as of right now…. well…. starting April 2021 will be $9,600 a year. This is the Savings from me not spending $1,000 a month on food. What could you do with an extra $800 a month, or even $9,600 a year. ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐a vacation, ๐a new car, ๐กa new house, ๐ a larger house, ๐investment properties, or just๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฐin the bank. I hope I have your undivided attention now……
Even before the Pandemic, I would spend about $350 every two weeks. That is about $700 a month. With the change to $200 a month that I spend on groceries now, my savings would be $6,000 a year. Guess what all of those items I mentioned above can still happen. $6,000 is alot of money. You can get all of the above, or…… PAY OFF DEBT.
DON’T GET ME STARTED ON EATING OUT AT RESTAURANTS……. WE DON’T ANYMORE
Instead of using that money to eat out, we instead choose to make memories. Maybe it’s something in your area that you have not done with the family yet. I would search on GROUPON for “fun family activities”. And it’s not a bad idea to give yourself a budget for these things. Let’s say a monthly budget for family fun of $50-$100. You can even make a plan for bi- monthly family fun activity instead of monthly. Let’s not forget we are saving $6,000-$9,600 a year. ๐
